This group can not be categorized. I’m sure that’s why the modern record industry has done nothing with their endless supply of talent. They are great recorded, they are even better live. Louisville’s own, Villebillies.

I highly recommend checking them out, and at some point my friends are going to ask me to shut the hell up already about the Villebillies. Well, they can go screw, because they have either listened and get why I push so hard, or they haven’t and they still need me to deliver the gospel. Maybe 2 or 3 have listened and passed on the idea. I don’t know who they are though, because no one has ever reported that back to me.

Below are the two latest videos they have out on the Villebillies YouTube Channel. You can find their music on iTunes, and I highly suggest you get over there and make some purchases. I don’t know of any greater modern era musical value than this group. If you’re luck enough to live in the Louisville area I highly suggest checking out a live show. If it’s not the best show I’ve seen, it’s the second best. Certainly the best ever in a small venue such as Headliners in Louisville.
